Dr James E. Young DDS
Dr. James E. Young has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has always stressed the importance of treating each person as an individual. He prides himself on giving honest advice to best meet each patient’s unique needs. There are often many different ways to fix a problem,and the same option is not always the best for every person. With this in mind, Dr. Young places great importance in discussing the different treatment options, and pros and cons of each, to every patient.
Dr. Young has had advanced training in dental implants and orthodontics. He provides his patients with options in both traditional braces and clear aligner orthodontics. He also provides the placement and restoration of dental implants, for everything from a single tooth, to .
After growing up in the rural town of Adrian, Michigan, he attended Siena Heights College, then went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1990.
Dr. Young is married to his best friend, Judy and has three wonderful children: Jimmy (who is also a dentist at Romeo Family Dentistry), Colleen, and Joey. When not working at the office he enjoys exercising, being outdoors, building, gardening, woodworking, upholstery work, and many winter activities.

Dr. James R. Young DDS
Dr. James R. Young grew up in Romeo Michigan where he attended Romeo High School. He went on to attend Michigan State University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Human Biology, and then attended the University of Michigan where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2019.
Much like his father, Dr. James places great importance on treating patients as individuals and meeting their unique needs. He frequently attends continuing education classes andprides himself on providing the full spectrum of high quality dental services to patients. This allows for comprehensive treatment all done by the same dentist. The continuity of care possible by having one office for all dental needs means better care for all patients, with nothing slipping through the cracks between different offices.
Dr. James is married to his wonderful wife Rachael (who also happens to be a dentist). When not doing dentistry, he enjoys playing and making music, skiing, attending Michigan State sporting events, and outdoor activities. Dr. James plays multiple instruments and played trombone through college with the Spartan Marching Band at Michigan State.
